Self-Initiated / Speculative Project -
The goal was to concept and design a short product explainer for a collaborative digital workspace. The video needed to clearly communicate a common problem—inefficient collaboration and meeting overload—while introducing a friendly, intuitive solution within a 15–20 second runtime.
-
CollabSpace was conceived as a playful, visually driven collaboration tool where ideas connect and structure emerges through interaction. The concept focused on transforming visual chaos into clarity, using familiar metaphors such as sticky notes, flowcharts, and spatial organization to communicate collaboration, decision-making, and alignment.
-
The project was developed through scripting and storyboard-like scene planning, defining clear narrative beats from problem to solution and call to action. Motion design explorations focused on smooth transitions, snapping elements, and zoom-out moments to visualize collective sense-making. A bright, friendly color palette and hand-drawn visual cues reinforced approachability and ease of use.
-
The project resulted in a concise explainer concept suitable for product marketing, pitch decks, or onboarding flows. It demonstrates the ability to translate abstract collaboration challenges into a clear, engaging motion narrative within a limited time format.
